1. Website Use

This website is provided for informational and booking purposes only. You agree not to:

2. Service Disclaimer

Results from hair services vary based on hair condition, prior chemical services, hair history, and maintenance compliance. While we strive for exceptional outcomes, no specific result is guaranteed.

3. Appointment Policies

Booking & Deposits

• All appointments require a non-refundable deposit.
• Deposits are applied toward your final service total.
• Deposits secure your reserved time.

Pricing

• All prices are “starting at” and may increase based on length, density, product usage, time required, and corrective work.
• Final pricing is confirmed during consultation or during your appointment once hair history is assessed.

Cancellation Policy

• Cancellations require a minimum of 48 hours notice.
• Late cancellations or no-shows may result in forfeited deposits.
• Repeated missed appointments may require full prepayment.

Late Arrival

• Clients arriving late may have their appointment shortened to respect scheduled reservations.
• If timing no longer allows completion of the service, your appointment may be rescheduled and your deposit may be forfeited.

4. Consultation & Service Approval

Clients are responsible for:

• Disclosing full hair history, including any chemical services within the last 3 years when known
• Disclosing prior box dye, metallic salts, henna, or other high-risk history when applicable
• Reviewing and approving the service plan prior to processing
• Understanding recommended maintenance requirements

Failure to disclose relevant hair history may affect results and may limit the services we can safely provide.

5. Extensions & Specialty Services

For discreet extension services:

• Extension hair may need to be purchased in advance.
• Extension hair is non-refundable once ordered.
• Maintenance appointments are typically required every 4–6 weeks.
• Failure to maintain may compromise results and longevity.

6. Refund Policy

Due to the nature of professional hair services, services are non-refundable. If you have concerns, you must notify us within 7 days so we may evaluate and, when appropriate, offer an adjustment.

Adjustments do not include change-of-mind requests (e.g., deciding you want a different tone, level, or style after the agreed service is completed).

7. Health & Safety

We reserve the right to refuse service if:

• Hair integrity would be compromised
• Medical scalp conditions appear untreated or unstable for chemical services
• Client behavior is inappropriate, unsafe, or disruptive
• Service requests are unrealistic or unsafe

Client wellbeing and structural hair integrity are our priority.

8. Intellectual Property

All website text, images, branding, and service descriptions are protected intellectual property and may not be reproduced without written consent.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Sugarbakers Salon shall not be liable for indirect or consequential damages, allergic reactions, pre-existing hair damage, misuse of recommended products, or failure to follow aftercare instructions.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida. Any disputes shall be resolved in Citrus County, Florida, unless otherwise required by law.

11. Modifications

We reserve the right to update these Terms and Policies at any time. Continued use of the website constitutes acceptance of updates.
